I want to buy Fantasy but now i don't know. .I read reviews and they are mostly good but one comment caught my attention:perfumeloverforever

"Everyone who mentioned the reformulation is speaking the truth. And I agree with Capricorngal19 we all need to start a petition demanding the original formulation to be brought back. Us people are being conned. I don't see why we should buy a product with the same name and be expected to be satisfied about a product which has completely changed beyond belief. PS we are also being lied to by EA, I wrote to them asking why they reformulated this perfume. They wrote back saying it had never been reformulated!! (Yeah right) we all know better, none of us are stupid!"

What do you guys think? Is there a difference?

there is a difference but is not THAT major,the perfume still smells very good,only less sweet

Supposedly this is true but it happened a long time ago now. Around the time of the change in bottle when they removed the crystals. It goes on sourer now. I love the smell but I've never smelled the original. Supposedly the Anniversary bottle is closer to the Original sent and it's a newer bottle so I think they are working on it. Try Stages since it is the newest bottle. I'll look for some reviews. I know they won't be ammused with it's bottle  But People used to complain that original Fantasy made them smell like an 8 year old girl. I guess that is why the change. Though from what I heard form people I know who have used both the original sent and the new sent, It's really just the first layer that is changed. It's less sweet but the lingering smells are closer to the original though aren't as strong.

If you have to buy the perfume online, look to see if someone is selling an unopened bottle form 2005-2007. You will be assured to have the Original scent. Oh the pre Conservator years
