" I would like to take the opportunity to say that I'd like to throttle the girl who met B in the m&g prior to me who ruined the vibe and freaked out every single person on B's staff by breaking the rules. I'm very upset that this individual chose to disregard requests and her poor judgement subsequently affected our 5k and opportunity to meet Britney. Everyone was harried, freaked out, and rushed after this girl opted to take her own needs as a priority.
I appeal to the Britney tribunal for some help, please. Alleviate the dissatisfied and shunned fan in me who was at no fault for another selfish individual who chose otherwise."

"A fan smuggled in a letter and asked B if she could give it to her. On one side, I get it. On the other, this completely ruined both mine and my bf's m&g. Security was ruffled, they literally said to my bf " you have about 10 seconds" while they interrogated this young lady. My m&g was about the same. We chose to go separately to meet in order to maximize time.
B was visibly & clearly effected from everyone having meltdown re: the breach.

Yeah, I read that on Facebook. I think it's dumb of the fan to do that, but at the same time, it's just a freaking LETTER. Not like she pulled out a gun. Security should not have been so rude and punished every one else because of one person. It's so unfair.

Her pic is cute though!  :bomt:

THIS TBH! MTE! People are paying 2,500k to see Britney and they can't talk with her longer so giving a letter is a great option!

Yeah the fan probably should have given the letter to Fe to give to Britney, but still. Just a letter. Not like they shot the ceiling down. I just don't get it. I've met the Backstreet Boys several times last year and gave them a gift each time. For their Christmas show, I handed them each a Christmas card I made. They had a bunch of security guards but no one ever said no gifts, they get gifts all the time. I don't get it.  :aww1:

But still. Not fair to punish every one else because one fan decided to hand her a LETTER. Her security are a little too ridiculous, IMO.  :frenchy:

First, I am sorry to hear this happened to you.  These M&G's are A LOT of money and quite frankly, you just never know how they are going to turn out.

During my FF M&G, we were given instructions and were expected to follow them.  No you couldn't hug her or give her anything - you couldn't even bring anything in the room with you.  Phones could stay in your pocket though - but we were actually told no hands in your pocket at any time.

I'm not sure why giving Britney a letter - which is not uncommon caused you and your friends time to be cut short?  and I also don't understand how this girl freaked everyone out - by "everyone" do you mean security?  This should not have impacted your experience and whether or not it was this girl's fault or Britney's team - it is wrong.  Britney's security is probably over the top and it's quite understandable at this point in her career.  Being told you "have 10 seconds" is ridiculous and would make anyone extra nervous -that was uncalled for in my opinion.  I get that she has to get on stage, but if she's 5 minutes late it isn't the end of the world is it?  Perhaps these events should start earlier if the timing isn't working.

I do feel that we should be able to get a personalized autograph from the woman - I mean, for $2,500.00 is that really too much to ask for?  I also think a few pictures should be taken - they are digital pictures - not a big deal and let's face it - they all don't come out the way we would want - I am lucky with mine, but you get one shot.

Whatever the reasons are behind the rules - I think M&G's are risky for any fan to take part in (regardless of artists)  They can be a wonderful experience or a not go as planned and well...

rules are rules for a reason, this person broke them and while i do feel bad her actions were taken out on other people, the rules are in place to protect britney at all costs and they were broken.

I don't get it  :soconfused:. But a fan gave her a letter like a month ago, and Britney answered him. Do you remember guys?

So I don't understand why is this fan saying that in the M&G the security doesn't allow them to give her letters  :zoomzoom:

Reason why it's bullshit: That young boy gave her a letter and she was fine with it, and she even answered..

As mentioned above, why couldn't this chick give her a letter when the other guy from a few weeks back could?

He did it the right way and gave it to Fe to give to her. You can give her gifts, but they have to be given to Fe. Before the meet & greet, Fe tells us that we cannot go in there with anything and not to put hands in our pockets or ask for autograph because it'll be scary for her to see you reach into your pocket and grab something, you don't know what people will pull out. So that's why they freaked. Gifts have to through Fe. She will hand it to Britney right before it's your turn to meet her.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the clarification. I assumed there was a proper protocol in place, just wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt lol. I blame all the freaks (like the idiot from The Circus Tour who jumped on stage and the other guy in South America that tried to bite her leg during Lace & Leather) for her security having to be so stringent. It puts a damper on things for everyone else.

So many clueless wankers posting here. Britney Spears is a world renowned Mega-Star...I'm sure every kind of crazy loon and obsessed nut have harassed and threaten her. A person can attempt murder by envelope if that envelope contains poison such as rison. A person can pull out a knife or razor blade or a fucking hypodermic needle to use against her. I personally think the pricey M&G charges are both due to her star status and to discourage people that might have an agenda to harm her.

I didn't know someone ran on stage during the Circus tour. We asked Fe during the backstage tour how people get picked for Freakshow and Fe said that it's usually someone they know for security reasons.

Very good point. I just think it's unfair that the other people at that same M&G were punished for that one crazy fan who didn't follow the rules. I'd be livid.

You're right but they have to be fair with everybody, because this fan gave her the letter directly, i mean, she has it in her hand, so he didn't give it to Fe:

This. I don't get why the security was so up in arms about this one. I doubt Britney was framed out by it but got freaked out by the security going ballistic.

you can't hand Britney anything directly. You have to give it to Fe and Fe gives it to her before you walk in the room. That's how she got that other guys letter.

Actually, he did give it to Fe. Fe passes it on to Britney right before it's the fan's turn to meet her.

My friend met Britney on Saturday and this is what she told me: "As you already know, I'm a diehard Britney fan. I've been that way since I was 14 years old. That being said, it would have taken quite a bit to ruin this experience for me. And, sadly, her security team almost managed to do just that. If I'm being honest, I'm incredibly disappointed. I really enjoyed the backstage tour. I did it for Femme Fatale and loved it then, too. But, unfortunately, there was an incident the night before (a fan tried to hand Britney a letter during her M&G), so Britney's team was on "high alert" and Britney was even more nervous than usual. And, due to that, we were told that we weren't allowed to give Britney a hug, that we weren't allowed to ask her if we could give her a hug, that we were not allowed to get too close to her and that we weren't allowed to ask her to pose with us. All I wanted was to give her a hug, so I almost cried. No joke. And, I had a few different poses in mind that I didn't get to do, which was a bit frustrating. On top of that, we had to stand outside, in the heat, for over 20 minutes, because a group of guys tried to sneak in and they had to get all of that sorted out. During that time, we weren't allowed to take any pictures; including with Fe (like everyone else has been able to). Again, because of the incident from the night before. Instead, the security spent the entire time making us feel stupid for being there. He kept repeating that Britney doesn't know us, that her team doesn't know us, that we need to respect her personal space, etc. It was the same speech that I'm sure everyone has received; however, it was the way it was delivered to us. Fe felt so bad that she eventually stepped back in to the conversation to tell us that he was doing it, because everyone felt so disrespected by the fan from the night before. And, while I understood that, I didn't appreciate that we were being punished because of it. When I finally met Britney, I was even more nervous, because of everything her security guard had said to us. Plus, I had no game plan, since I was told I couldn't do anything I'd planned to do. So, I just walked up to her, shook her hand and said "Hi Britney! My name is Nicole." She just smiled at me and didn't say anything. Then we took a picture. It happened so fast that I didn't get to fix my hair or my shirt and I didn't even know if I'd looked at the camera. She didn't say anything to my friend Lindsey, at all, so she was really disappointed. I told her it was because she didn't say anything to her. But, it does suck that she didn't say anything either. The show was AMAZING and I loved our seats. But, after the show, we went to pick up our "goody bags," and discovered that they are no longer giving out the free tee shirts. So, all we got was a VIP badge and a poster. And, the cards we got with our photos didn't work. So, I'm currently working with the Kodak group to get that fixed before our flight takes off today. Oh, and did I mention that the "Pre-Party Access" has been cancelled? So, I didn't get to experience that either. I'm glad I did it, because I've always wanted to meet her, but I wouldn't do it again. And, if someone asked me if it was worth it, I would have to tell them no; which makes me incredibly sad."
