But then people will moan that there's no hits on the album and it'll "flop".

babe they will moan and complain any way tbh. no matter what kind of musoc we get there will be that part of fanbase unsatissfied. but i think she's done enough dance music with FF and BJ and as we know those both concepts werent Brit's ogirinal ones. so let the girl do what SHE wants finally

Blackout is pure electro-pop and dance pop though? With some R&B elements.

Sorry, what I tried to say is that instead being in part dance music, it xpress more than all the shit you hear on the radio, a one day song, and blackout is not like that

I'm desperate to hear some urban-ney just one more time. Or just something new. Rock, maybe. Or songs like Ouch, Peepshow, Over to You Now, Mona Lisa. Stuff you don't hear often.

House music is already being done and brought back actually.

exactly!!!!

we've been waiting for urban albun for fucking 5 years already. in fact, im pretty sure that it will go very well even sales wise cuz thats what ruling rn. dance music is fading away quickly

I totally agree. The album could have all my worst fears of music style and I wouldn't mind. As long as she's happy.

You just don't play it, it's not hard haha

Radio is just pure shit anyway, at least in the UK. Everyone hates it tbh.

Exactly. It'll just gather dust in my iTunes with 0 plays if she goes house :thatsfunny:

But I'd still love her

But that dance music was innovative and just HOT. It was dance, r&b, a little rock (Ooh ooh baby), and pop all rolled into one cohesive album.

Thats the word to describe britney, innovative, thats what everybody wants instead there arefans that want her to sound trendy what she makes her being the princess of pop and godney is that she is always on the top for being innovative

And I don't get how this fanbase worships Blackout and says no to dance music

MFTE

I always get so confused :gloria:

They say they hate dance music, electro pop and autotune but yet the fan favourite album is full of it :thatsfunny:

And she was able to achieve that through experimenting with producers, much like what she can do with Disclosure. Britney's team can be wrong, but they're right about one thing: Britney's market resides in the club, at least now. For a compromise, she can just push the boundaries, while keeping it club-friendly.

I frigging love Disclosure. Britney could do something like this and add her own touch to it.

I've really liked them recently, too. :D I hope she works with them :crying5: Their sound is so current and not about 5 years late unlike with another album that should not be named :4music:

And doing house music isn't exactly being innovative... house music has been popular on radio in the UK for about 2/3 years now.

I want  Britney to be a trend setter not a trend follower.

:eekk: not super into house. Wish she'd lead trends again and do post-bass/glitch hop/post-dubstep instead a la FKA twigs, James Blake, Purity Ring, etc. house is nice but it has the tendency to sound basic, cheap and derivative if there isn't some interesting tweak in the composition :yaknow:

Oh God no.

Who cares if it flops tbh, some people just live for numbers, they would be happy with shitty music as long as it's a success, they dont like the music itself but just the #1. It's the same people who think a song is amazing when it's released and then when it flop they say it's a bad song.

I say fuck these people. I (and a lot of people too i guess) would prefer quality over success, i'm not here for club bangers and #1 on the charts, i dont care if its not radio friendly i just want good music.
