Speaks for itself

DO NOT EVEN ACT LIKE PERFUME IS A SHITTY SONG, YOU WERE ALL DYING THE 1ST WEEK (YOU KNOW BEFORE WE KNEW IT'S PEAK ON THE CHARTS)

3.1 MILLION VIEWS, O.M.G.

Same as Perfume. When it leaked, everyone flipped until the fake myah rumours came out (waiting for the comments below now........... -.- )

NOW THAT I FOUND YOU

Another thing here. When someone says "OH IT SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE WAKE ME UP", y'all suddenly were like EWWWW!!..........................................................................

this.... is.... an... amazing.... song!

And it's NOT very similar to that song!

The difference with "Now That I Found You" is that it has an asian themed chorus instrumental!

TIL' IT'S GONE

No words.

These are practically half of the album.

I honestly love BJ as a whole tbh. I think it's a great album.

Work Bitch

Perfume

Passenger

Hold On Tight

Brightest Morning Star

Alien

Don't Cry

Body Ache

Now That I Found You

All great tracks! I'm hoping in time it will become more appreciated :mhm:

funny. I remeber before BJ came out everyone was excited.

When passenger leaked everyone loved it

when perfume came out everyone loved it and praised the vocals,

but suddenly when the album didn't sell well, and mocking BJ was a 'cool thing" everyone jumped on that boat.

Talk about hipocrisy.

I know some people here REALLy don't like the album, but lbr,the majority just jumped on the boat while they were at it :queenflopga:

I love the album!

Could it be better? yes

but it's better than nothing

I still make some jokes on the album every now and then, but i don't act like it's the end of her carreer and that is a horrible album

that's just my 2 cents :tea:

You don't have to call us stupid for having an opinion :bomt:

So many people in the fanbase hated it even before knowing about the charts btw. Imho, everything is shit except Work Bitch which is borderline decent. :sew: But I respect your opinion.

MTE. earlier today...

Everyone was soo excited and happy with BJ and perfume, so it's wierd how they mean it's a shitty allbum JUST because it  did not chart as well as her earlier albums.

Like wtf, get over it....  :smokeney:  :displeased:

I never cared for the album. When it came out, I wasn't apart of the online forums, so I never praised it then turned around to bash it. For me, it was very bland despite her improved vocals in certain songs and the high energy of WB.

I, for one, am sick of people bitching about people who don't like Britney Jean. Telling my my opinion

Hold On Tight, I'll consider, but I don't know where to start with the other three.

Alien - the glitch, the annoying repetitive chorus, the lack of a proper bridge

Brightest Morning Star - the cringeworthy baby vocals all throughout

Perfume - the production, lyrics, lack of rhythm

Alien, BMS, Work Bitch, Perfume, TTB, Don't Cry, Passenger, Hold On Tight are all great songs

Stop yourself

It was painfully obvious from day #1

When I heard it for the very first time (right when I got the album and put it in my laptop), I was like "Uhm?"

The song is great, yeah, until that part which ruins everything

Ok, when you put it that way, I can understand.

I love her natural vocals in BMS. It showcases her voice perfectly imo.

In regards to Perfume, do you prefer the Dreaming Mix?

You've obviously never heard the demo

LMFAO BRITNEY MADE HER CAREER WITH THE BABY VOICE

The production compliments her voice really well. The rhythm is still stuck in my head (actually, I once started singing the rhythm without remembering where it was from). What the hell is wrong witht the lyrics?

It is not the level of other Britney albums even bomt is better let's not compare Britney to basic bitches let's compare her to herself b/c she's in a lane of her own and b/o, Britney, itz, oops, circus, bomt, and ff are ashamed of bj...bj is different for all the wrong reasons unlike Britney's other records...they were ahead of their time or ATLEAST current...bj was/is/will always be dated and stale with half done production and vocals...a stain on her legacy and a total insult to her brand and flawfree discography(before it's release)...of course theirs a few songs i consider decent ONLY b/c of who is singin it...but do I think this album is a representation of Britney? no...should it have been better? Yes, there's no excuse for someone of her caliber to have such a shitty album...she has power and can get exclusive hits which she was gettin for what would have been the urban album...but I don't buy the "she didn't wanna promote so ppl took back hits" story her label wanted edm and it pissed Britney off so she had a "if I finish the song fine if not idgaf b/c y'all changed this shit at the last min". Attitude. the album suffered b/c of both the change and Britney's lack of fucks to give which tainted the listening experience for some fans such as myself...it didn't sound like a Britney record and the vocals clearly wasn't all Britney...which makes it seem parody/scam and I can't support that or encourage Britney to continue to be that dishonest...I'm glad it flopped so she doesn't have someone else sing for her again

Don't get me wrong, I respect other people who like it, but it annoys me when people classify people who don't like BJ as bandwagonners. I wouldn't care if BJ sold one copy if I felt it was a quality album. I just didn't feel that way. :4music: It had this unfinished demo quality to me.

And with Perfume, yes, I do, but I'm disappointed with the lyrics overall. I just can't at the standards with Britney lyrics from "Why are we strangers when our love is strong? Why carry on without me?" to "I want to mark my territory" :boring: I guess I was just expecting another Everytime and I find it embarrassing when Britney fans assume Britney wrote it because of the "trying to be cool" line, implying she is a shallow, lyricist.

With BMS, I just hate how it's already processed and it isn't even done in a pleasing way, but I do hear good parts about her voice. :yaknow:

That's fair enough. As fans, we all should acknowledge that everyone's going to have different opinions. In relation to the 'Marking my territory' I can definitely see how it sounds silly, but I think it really suits the song and makes a lot of sense. Perfume and Everytime are completely different songs.

The chorus in BMS seems to be processed combined with mixed vocals, kind of like Passenger, however the verses are relatively raw. At least to me :mhm:

She did, but it wasn't as poorly produced as it was on BMS, pertaining to the ballads. Compare it with the vocals on Everytime or even I'm Not A Girl and He About to Lose Me, and there is a clear difference.

"I want it all over you, I want to mark my territory"? :orangu: Is this the same girl who wrote Everytime, Someday, Let Go?

It could have been saved with better production. The pulsating beat should have been replaced with something that was ascending. :yaknow: It's sad cause the verses had a lot of potential, but the chorus left me disappointed.
