At fucking last.

Check out this new article for Life & Style. They're claiming Britney is sick of being under conservatorship and wants to fight for her freedom in October during another court meeting.

They're claiming Jamie forced her into extending her Vegas residency and that she does not want to do it.

Jamie is a fucking animal. Go fucking work bitch and stop living off your daughter's bank account.

I really hope everything goes right for her, she seems happier than ever.

another tabloid telling stories from "insiders" and "people not directly related to britney's case" tooooootally believable :pieceofwhat:

What's not believable about this? It's been 7 years, she's like a bird trapped in the cage, who wouldn't want to fight for their freedom?

the whole "she's like a bird trapped in a cage" bit.

no one knows what is going on behind closed doors, and the ones that do aren't going to talk to tabloids about it

After seven years, there's little legitimacy left in the conservatorship now. We may not "know what goes on behind closed doors". But to have one's entire life under court order (for this long) when millions of people get along just fine with former or current mental issues, breakdowns, divorces, and custody battles is ridiculous and just odd. Financial advising and monitoring is reasonable, with $221 million on the line. But Britney can handle herself and is no longer surrounded by toxic people. She loves her freedom and boys too much to get out of control again and now that her schedule is perfect for work and family, there's little room for her to be upset with being burnt out and overworked. (Also, the paps have calmed down drastically since 2007).

If this in fact true, then I support Britney 200%

I don't think that will happen because Britney is under two different Conservatorships. Conservatorship of the Estate and Conservatorship of the Person. Britney must be free of her Personal C-Ship before she can do anything about trying to take control of her money, Estate.

Andrew Wallet, Attorney: Co-Conservator of the Estate
Jamie Spears: Co-Conservator of the Estate and Conservator of the Person

Well this isn't true. She said in that interview that she's happy with Vegas and doesn't want to tour any time soon.

Unless the interview was just fake?

I just gonna say that I support Britney 100%, if she wants to get her freedom back i'm gonna support her and if she's happy with the conservatorship I'm gonna support her too. The only think that we should care about Britney is her happiness and health and that's it.  :)

No problem  I just can't at anyone insinuating the conservatorship is a good thing for Britney after 7 years and all of her progress. She deserves autonomy over her own life.

if you're talking about my comments (which i'm assuming you were, if not them i'm sorry) i was in no way insinuating that. i was merely stating i don't believe things that come from tabloids, unnamed sources and people who call themselves "professionals" yet make comments about a case they're not directly involved in.

I understand you now.

I take everything with a grain of salt as well, but Britney's feelings regarding the c-ship are completely unknown (and that's ok) so anything could be potentially true. If she's happy, I'm happy. However, I just worry about the intentions of keeping this going on for so long.

And yes I was referencing your comment.

Thank you! I just can't at the people who seem to think the conservatorship is no big deal. The fact that her father has the legal power to decide wether she can marry or not is just wrong. If there is something truly wrong with britney, that justifies years under a conservatorship, then she should not be working as hard as she has been working the past 7 years. She should be off somewhere out of the public eye getting help.

All I ever heard Britney say, and that was by a third party. She just wants her personal freedom back. They can keep the Estate C-Ship in place. Britney deserves her personal freedoms back. I think they are afraid to though. Once Britney gets them back she can change Management, sign Contracts and eventually Petition The Court to take control of her Estate.

don't like how they are making it seem she is at war with her dad and he a bad person. i'm sure her dad has good intentions and loves her unconditionally like parents should. i don't think it is her dad she needs to convince to be released from the conservatorship it is the judge residing over the case and the professionals who will assess if she is fit to not be under conservatorship.  if she was being held against her will like the magazines are kind of insinuating which is crazy i'm sure she could shout help over her microphone.

IDK what goes on in Britney's life enough to vote yes or no for conservatorship, but the fact that the mag brought up how Britney wanted to marry David and couldn't (without permission), as an example for why she wanted control, backfires a little bit, since as we now know David wasn't a suitable partner and it was her dad who took the liberty to show her and hide the video from public eyes. I get the point is about needing permission to wed, but bringing up David was eh, since the situation may support Jamie's judgment/decision making skills over Brit's in some people's eyes, including court members possibly.

Well I have never had a full opinion about the conservatorship because I don't really understand it. I know what it implies but as far as I know conservatorship ate settled when someone is dangerous for himself or others. Well, Brit could be that dangerous for herself ay one point but I've always thought there were other reasons hidden because of her issues with Sam Lufti and Adnan and for some reason they don't break the Cship.

If she is not free of the conservatorship I assume is because she is not as stable as it seems or because she is but it's better for her for other reasons. I find hard to believe that a judge just puts a conservatorship and forgets Scott ir. He or she can see Britney on TV I suppose there are meetings and psycological exams.

This is also how I feel about everything.

And I also think the judge is the only shady person within the entire conservatorship.
