Goten21 Posted September 8, 2014 #51 Report Posted September 8, 2014 The subculture is largely characterized by anti-establishment views and the promotion of individual freedom. + For some punks, the body was a symbol of opposition, a political statement expressing disgust of all that was “normal†and socially accepted. Which, imho, perfectly describes what she was doing at the timeDo you think it's socially acceptable to flash your vahjayjay? Do you think it's socially acceptable to go bald? No! 'Cuz u know that youz rebelliooon

Far Beyond Posted September 8, 2014 #53 Report Posted September 8, 2014 guys "Punks not Dead" is a common phrase in punk rock Britney is shown smiling/enjoying shaving her head in the shirt, and it is an iconic "Fuck You World" moment in popculture I would only take it as shade if the shirt showed her angry moment as completely bald...but instead it shows her transitioning, like she is being fierce and badass and making a statement Punk is about rebellion, freedom, revolution, and making a statement...and the shirt would be more welcome to punk fans, but probably misunderstood by pop fans Miley is a stan, and see's herself as rebellious...she has no reason to beef w Britney. Maybe it's just her way of showing support while Britney is in the tabloids right now. I mean if she just wore a regular Britney shirt less people would react anyways
