Critics slammed it before it was a flop lol it's not absurd to think a lot of fans just don't like it of course there was a few ppl that liked it ibitially(not me) b/c it was new Britney music but once it got old they realized it sucked

I still don't understand why it always has to be Myah Marie when Britney's voice sounds different on her songs. Why would they put someone else's voice "to make it sound better" when they can just alter Britney's voice with all those programs like autotune? For me Body Ache, Passenger are just Britney's voice, very altered, but still Britney's. It Should Be Easy kind of voice is not the only way they can alter her vocals. Yeah, there might be Sia's vocals in some songs, and Myah said she was on Alien, but that's far from being featured as the main voice on a song.

I honestly don't hear Myah on BA at all... and people swear up and down she's on it.. Like get over it already and just enjoy the fact that there is a song where Britney is singing about DANCENEY!!!

Someone posted that the only songs that don't feature Myah Marie on backing/ghost vocals are: "Perfume," "Don't Cry."  While listening to those two songs versus the rest, it becomes obvious.  There's a thin huskiness to Britney's voice that Myah, though pleasant & damn near close, just can't replicate.

 

I love "Passenger" but clearly Myah's vocals were used instead of Britney's and no filtering software is needed to decipher that.  It's a shame because if the song were 100% sung by Britney, it would stand as one of her better vocal performances and initial reviews reflected that.  Having a sound alike backing vocalist on her albums isn't a good look and it's not even MM's fault.  Hopefully Team Britney realizes this "experiment" -- lack of time on Britney's part to actually record, so we'll just have Myah fill in -- didn't work and won't repeat the same mistake on her next album.  The fact we're still debating the authenticity of her vocals on her own album says it all; more questions then answers.

I take any and all statements from her team with a gain of salt.   The album is still in the beginning stages, a lot can still change, and often with Britney projects does happen for the worse once the release date is set. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, I'm excited about her next project and hope nothing but good things come from it.  will.i.am shouldn't even be considered, Myah Marie is fine when she is used properly I just don't need to hear her lead vocals on "Passenger," she's not the enemy.
