It's because she was in complete control and she WANTED to do it and show her dance skills, Brit is completely able to do it just as well now and we've seen little sparks of that energy she just needs to learn to love performing again

I honestly think its the meds- she was still kinda fluid in the Circus tour but not nearly as much and its gotten worse ever since. At least she's attempting real choreo again in the POM tho

Something happened that we are just not ever going to know about.  I think POM is the best she's ever going to get...why?  because Vegas was/is a HUGE career move (even bigger than touring again) and it's based on her past and present and her known ability to put on a spectacle - complete with complex choreography.  There are more routines in POM that are similar to 1998-2005 as opposed to TCTSBS and FF, however, instead of dancing for 3-4 minutes per song - you get 20-30 seconds here and there of actual choreography - not fierce walking, pointing up and down and hair flipping - this stuff looks good only when done in reverse - 20-30 seconds of fierce walking, pointing and hair flipping in between heavy choreography.  I also don't care for the fact that her dancers are doing a routine and she's doing something random - it never used to be that way - her dancers couldn't keep up with her - now it's the opposite.  If they could all slow down and do the same thing it could look much better.

funny how everyone is praising M+M's now, but she was so criticized when these videos came out...her dance is better from what we got now, but this show is a mess...everyone said terrible things now people say things like "slayed"

That's typically how things work - I do think that "tour" was a mess - but she wanted to do it - and she did it - I'll give her that and it was a fun moment for someone as big as Britney Spears showing up to perform at small venues like HOB under M+M's.

yeah I just find it funny how people seem to put flowers to everything in the past...this was embarrassing at the time for most people...and now they talk about it like it was an amazing show...her dancing is better than what we have now, but comments like "slayed/amazing" seem a bit delusional (favorite word on britney forums ahah)...it's better than now, but it's not good in my opinion....

its because everyone expected Brit to come out like it was 2001 again and that obviously wasnt gonna happen. Just the fact that she put the whole thing together and organized/choreographed herself deserves major props

I would imagine she is - but she hasn't done the full routine in years.  It's one her most iconic and memorable pieces of choreography - she'd probably rather not be doing it in Vegas right now but it's a necessity (even a little piece of it) in a GH show.

No, at the time most Britney fans were horrified and/or excited at the same time - we didn't know what she was thinking/doing but if she was performing, we were there or at least watching online.  

well my experience is the opposite...everyone criticized her...I'm no saint, I said that she wasn't dancing very well too...what I'm criticizing is the fact that people (at least the ones that I saw) said terrible things about this show and now they are praising it like it's something that is close to primeney...I said that I didn't liked her dancing and I still think that...it's better than now, but it's still bad for me...what pisses me of is the people that criticize her and than praise her after a while...if you like support her from the beginning!!

yes she was much better in this leg...and I'm actually one of the few people that like the choreographies in this show....britney's versions are a lot more simple, but I don't think it's the choreographers fault, I think it's britney that wants things more simple...but the dancers choreo is amazing...her versions are cool too, but I wish she would do them in full
