Lsuboi89 Posted September 10, 2014 #1 Report Posted September 10, 2014 So I saw the show first hand on September 6th...I got to go on a backstage tour, which was amazing. Here's the things that I learned. Backstage tour Facts: 1) Britney has 4 options for every wardrobe change in the show. That is the first she's ever had such a thing. They were custom for her. One is made out of the same material as Spiderman's costume. However that one is heavy as hell so Britney will most likely never wear that one. 2) Britney couldn't dance in the shoes designed for her, so she chose to go to the store buy SKETCHERS, and bedazzle/decorate them with her seemstress on tour. She designed them how she wanted and the seemstress did them. The heels are reinforced with steel so the heels don't break. 3) Britney's venue is the biggest venue on the Las Vegas Strip. 4) The entire balcony is dedicated to lightning and sound. 5) Britney's wings were designed by a victoria secret designer who makes the wings for their run way shows. it has thousands of LED lights. It could light up 10 christmas trees the size of the big one they put up in new york each year. 6) The other choices of costumes for her shows look good. One is a flesh colored with neon strips which is another option for the boys/perfume segment. It reminds me of the outfit she performed the hookup on the onyx hotel tour. She has a red leather bra looking outfit. 7) Her stage is awesome. I got to walk up and down it everywhere she performed. 8) We got to touch the me against the music props. they have sanded and clear coated them so they are safe now. 9) the Circus drums are the only prop recycled from other tours. 10) Old outfits from other shows/tours are in the wardrobe room. 11) We met some of the people who work with her. They all genuinely seem to love her. They talked great about her, told stories, and seriously sounded like they are good friends and she is a normal everyday person. 12) FE is the sweetest lady you will ever meet. I can't tell you how great it was to finally meet and hug her. She is down to earth and a true southern woman. 13) The whole upstairs smelled like vanilla candles. We were right by the back of her dressing room. So the vanilla candles thing is true. 14) Britney does all her changing under the rafter where she does the piece of me number. Her dancers change under the opposite one. 15) There is no under stage area, like they have been each of the other tours. This is the first one. That is why you see her run off stage in between sets. 16) she has 9 male dancers, and 7 female. and 2 swing dancers which dress in full costume, throughout the show just in case. 17) The tree is huge and weighs a ton. Britney and one other guy who puts her in her harness are the only 2 to climb the tree. It takes 2 guys and a dolly to push the tree onstage. 18) there is real water that pours from the ceilings. 80 gallons or so a night i think was the number Fe said. 19) there really isn't a bad seat in the entire venue. 20) 193 people are on each of the two sides of the Pits. 21) Her angel wing dress train is 22 feet long. So that tells you how high in the air she is. NOW for the show review: 1) I will no longer ever make fun of the people taking videos and doing a sucky job at it. It is hard to do when you are at her show. You are trying to enjoy and take in the show, but at the same time record for the other fans. 2) She looks amazing in person. Her body is on point. They say that it looks the same as the videos and some of it is true. But you miss out on the atmosphere and her charisma in videos. I also think that you don't get to see just how close she is to everyone in the arena. 3) The excitement of the crowd and love for her is undeniable. She is truly a star with amazing fans. 4) The baby one more times/Oops I did it again part is probably my favorite part of the show. It’s really cool how she goes from flying in the air doing everytime into a dark scene for baby one more time. 5) The dancers are sexy as fuck and they are amazing at doing their job. 6) This is probably the best theatrical tour she has ever done. So many artsy pieces to it. 7) Here is where I’m going get a little heat. Her dancing is good. I think she still has her moments where she is badass. However some of it is still a little stiff. Don’t hate me for saying that. I just want to be real. I love Britney to death, defend her to anyone. But I know that she can still do some of those moves better. 8) I was disappointed in the Slave for You dancing. She just went through the motions there. I really wish they would change the moves there so she wouldn’t get bored with those moves. I know it’s iconic, But I think she would go harder if she changed it up. The same moves get old after awhile. 9) Even at her stiffest, she still dances better than any current perfomer. At moments like her breakdowns, she can out dance anyone period. 10) That body though. I don’t think any realizes just how fit she is. Like her body is point. 11) She is an icon and Vegas loves her. She is everywhere. Talking to locals and vistors alike. No one had anything bad to say about her. They all love her and glad she is there. All said she puts on a hell of a show. Including a little monster I met on a dating app that flew to see her. 12) I enjoyed the show a lot. Her costumes looked great. The music was awesome. The video packages get you hyped. The crowd goes insane. You rarely ever sit down. Everyone is singing along. It’s a great thing to experience. 13) She is on time and wastes none getting through the show. 14) Britney remains one of the only women in the world that I would ever go straight for. 15) After listening to stories about her, meeting FE, watching her perform, and still being amazing as ever. My love for her has only grown. She is truly an incredible lady. 16) I’ve been to P!nk, Beyonce, Miley, Rihanna, etc. Britney can hold her own and can outshine most of them. However, I did learn after watching all these women, that they are all different kind of performers. You can’t compare any of them, because none are alike. 17) She seems more comfortable on stage, and interacts and talks to the audience a lot more then what the videos indicate. 18) She seems truly happy now a days, and getting back to being on top of her game. As a Britney fan, I couldn’t be happier with the way she is performing and acting. 19) Overall, I had a blast. There is a different feeling that you get when you’re at a Britney concert compared to anyone. Just being around something so magical and so exciting, just makes you proud to be a fan. It is also great to know that you’re surrounded by the true fans. The fans willing to travel the country just to experience the Icon known as the one and only Queen: Britney Spears. Here are some Videos: WARNING: I was a little tipsy, dancing, and singing, so my camera work sucks somewhat. Do not judge me, it is hard to film and have a good time. When I go back to the show in a few months, I’ll try and focus more on the filming lol. I also used an iphone, so... Baby One More Time: Work Bitch: Womanizer: 3: Oops I did it Again: Gimme More: Break the Ice: Piece of ME: Circus: Toxic: Crazy: Me Against the Music: Til the World Ends: 4
Corona Posted September 10, 2014 #3 Report Posted September 10, 2014 So I saw the show first hand on September 6th...I got to go on a backstage tour, which was amazing. I went in December and I agree 100%. And Britney has improved since I was there. She lost weight, new costumes and new routines. Also, Britney is more comfortable with the audience now. I can't wait to go back. You did a tour like I want to do. Thank you I now want that package more than ever. I just hate sitting so close. Where you sat did it take away from the Boys routine? Where I sat last time the lighting was just right and made it look cool. I got my ticket as soon as I could but Section 103 was already filled. I could only get Section 204 Row B. But I have been thinking VIP this time if sitting too close didn't take away from the special effects.

But I have been thinking VIP this time if sitting too close didn't take away from the special effects. I was in 105. I sat with my friends. I bought all 6 of our tickets so they could experience it. I want to get the table or in the middle next time. I think the 100 sections are perfect. Only thing about 105 it's on the side so the lighting kind of sucks at parts of the show. 102-104 would probably be the best seating. I think the VIP seats would be great when it comes to videos. I'm doing the meet and greet next time I go.

I thought about a M&G but it looked like the seats were just too close for me. I guess I could buy two tickets a M&G and a seat where I wan to sit. I am looking at Section 103 about half way up is a good seat.

She mostly performs on the main stage which is a good bit away too. U wouldn't have all the heads in ur way for pics either on the front row.

I hate people in front of me but I hate sitting too close so that is what the trouble I was running in to. And the deal with meeting Britney for only short bit doesn't bother me just as long as I get to meet her. I want to be last in line though. Better shot at getting more time with her.
toxicxxkat Posted September 11, 2014 #8 Report Posted September 11, 2014 She has old tour costumes for a wardrobe option?! What outfits did you get to see?
Lsuboi89 Posted September 11, 2014 Author #9 Report Posted September 11, 2014 She has old tour costumes for a wardrobe option?! What outfits did you get to see? No. She just has the outfits from other tours in the wardrobe room. They are thinking of switching out the ones in the cases ever so often.
toxicxxkat Posted September 11, 2014 #10 Report Posted September 11, 2014 No. She just has the outfits from other tours in the wardrobe room. They are thinking of switching out the ones in the cases ever so often. Oooh okay that makes sense. Would be cool if she wore one of them tho.

Lsuboi89 Posted September 11, 2014 Author #15 Report Posted September 11, 2014 That's exactly the outfit I was thinking! I would probably faint or cry or something if she wore that again. I want to see her wear the work bitch costume in the case. She would look sexy as hell in that on stage. 1
toxicxxkat Posted September 11, 2014 #17 Report Posted September 11, 2014 I want to see her wear the work bitch costume in the case. She would look sexy as hell in that on stage. She would but the shrug would kinda be in the way imo if she wore just the bra and shorts tho that would be hot.

MadDennis Posted September 11, 2014 #19 Report Posted September 11, 2014 You're so lucky!! I love your review I have a question though: What's the deal with the swing dancers?
Lsuboi89 Posted September 11, 2014 Author #20 Report Posted September 11, 2014 You're so lucky!! I love your review I have a question though: What's the deal with the swing dancers? Just in case the dancers are injured or can't dance. They are ready to go at a moments notice. That's why they dress out for each set. It's a precaution so the show can go flawless regardless
