Zoe Saldana: "there's A Reason Why She Was More Popular Than Her More Talented Colleagues"

"Britney's a very beautiful human being," Saldana told Allure in June 2013. "After I worked with her, I realized that there was a reason why she was the most popular pop artist over so many other pop artists at that time who were more talented, had better voices. And it was because of her heart, her soul."

Zoe could've worded it better, but it was in good heart  Happy to see she's shining a lot now, too.

Yeah, now it's like she's thinking Britney is 'less'" talented. But it's okay, we know what she means and it's a nice thing to say.

I don't think she was trying to take away from britneys talent or ability as a performer. It's always been a common opinion since the beginning that she didn't have the strongest voice out there so I think that all she meant by it

Britney IS less talented than most professional singers when it comes to singin...that's not shade that's fact even primeney wasn't the best singer and admitted it in the Diane sawyer interview...but yes her personality was flawfree which is y she remains so manys fave forever

It is so annoying that people just accept the fact that Britney is untalented or less talented...

WTF...She is one of the most talented entertainers out there...It's just that her singing ability is not her strongest trait...

I get that Zoe didn't mean to be negative but subconsciously she believes it, her fans believe it and now even Britney believes it...That's why she stopped singing and trying in general... :icantt:

this, we can make a list of popstars out there of are better singers than Britney

it doesn't mean that she doesn't know how to sing, but the others sing better and have a stronger skill there

however, they lack the "it" factor that Britney has which carries more than a 'good singer'

don't know why so many people think christina aguileria has a great voice i honestly can't listen to her singing she has a very grating tone to her voice. it is not pleasant or nice to listen to i 100 percent believe britney has a better voice and would listen to  her voice any day over christinas voice.  and she is a nicer person i remember this from years ago westlife from ireland talking about their encounter with christina aguileria http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/1013870.stm .

Xtina over-sings 99% of the time. Very aggressive, the way she punches every note.

The only thing xtina ever best Britney at was singing but everything else performing and dancing Britney was far better I hate how ppl think just because you have a good voice ppl automatically think your Moore talented than this artist no matter what

MORE TALENT? Tell me who the fuck has more talent than Britney who can sing, dance, write, play the piano, act (esp comedy), choreograph and also has amazing charisma and stage presence. She has ambition, dedication, drive and perseverance. SO sick of people saying this shit. She is always on time, present, barely ever cancels a show, and goes out of her way to make anyone feel welcomed. There is a reason Britney is queen and half of it is because she is an amazing person and the other half is because no one in the world can put on a performance like she has. There is not a single person out there who I can honestly say deserves more success than Britney Spears.

that interview was disgusting and it was bullshit. Diane Sawyer should have never asked her that and everyone tore Britney down so much for her voice and it's only because she couldn't sing like Christina. They don't ask Katy Perry or Selena Gomez those ridiculous questions and both of them are shit compared to Britney (and I like Selena) as musical artists (among others but I'm not trying to go into detail). I feel that is part of the reason Britney doubts herself so much. I've never seen someone get as much unnecessary hate as Britney Spears, and it saddens me because she doesn't deserve ANY of it.
