If Original Doll Was Released What Would Happen To Britney's Discography

IMO the era would slay...and the album would be close to diamond prob 4-5 million WW...

We wouldn't be getting Blackout, parts of Circus and Femme Fatale,

her 6th album would probably flop because of the bad things going on her life, she wouldnt have blackout so i dont see her success...

if she did make it like she did with blackout.. her next few albums would sell like 2 million to 3 million... Also is it just me or did Blackout save Britney's life?

so this would be her discography if Original Doll was released

1) ....Baby One More Time, 1999, 30 Million WW

2) Oops I Did It Again, 2000, 28 Million WW

3) Britney, 2001, 15 Million WW

4) In The Zone, 2003, 12 Million WW

5) Original Doll, 2005, 4 Million WW

6) ( A album kinda like Circus, but less hip) 2008-2009 2-3 Million WW

7) ( A album like Britney Jean and Will.I.Shit) 2010-2013 800K

Depends if she gets passion again like the Blackout world...

8) ( Album that kinda slays) 2014-2017 1-2 Million WW

original doll selling 8M??? not even close...people were tired of her by that time, and the album wasn't going to be radio friendly from what we can see from the material that she recorded by that time...on the other hand, I love the type of sound that she was going to

Lbr, it would've been her second/third worst album. It was definately a different sound but it wasn't fresh and was kinda trashy. I'm so glad it didn't happen. It would've been it for Britney tbh. Everyone started to get tired of her.

And also, this has just made me think, why does the Army always want/love the things the most what they can't have? Rebellion-it'd have been shit, Outrageous- the song is mediocre. Then OD- there were no radio friendly hits

Rebellion was meant for Blackout...

Mona Lisa says hi.. it wouldve atleast entered top 40... Britney was a flop on the bb hot 100.. Break The Ice was supposed to be on Original Doll...  :4music:  that song would've defiantly be chosen as a single

lol duh.. :P but we wouldn't be getting blackout  :crying1:

I Know :crying1: But I think I would prefer to have Original Doll tbh. I love Blackout, but my fave Britney album is In The Zone and Original Doll would be something between Blackout and In The Zone so it's like perfection! If the album would be full of songs like Welcome To Me & Mona Lisa - I would love it more than Blackout AND MAYBE even In The Zone.

I still think she will release original doll, not in the for of an album, but kind of put 2 or 3 songs that were to be on the original doll, on her other albums, thats my opinion :)

I don't think it would have been that successful, specially if she was staying away from pop with each album. Actually, if she released it and went on tour and stuff, I think there wouldn't have been any breakdown, she wouldn't became mom in the first place, and probably she would have went through a long pause after that album.

I think Blackout is far from saving her life, but at least made her stay relevant in music.

Which is even sadder, is that I think it was actually her personal breakdown what saved her career, and made everyone  wait for her comeback, which wouldn't have happened if she released an album like Original Doll and flopped.
