I keep saying this, but Britney really really seems to like her, she seems to mention her a lot and seems to admire her. I'd rather her do a collaboration if she's going to do one with someone she was impressed by and not just because they're the newest hottest thing. I also thank Katy has just as much to gain from this. If they were both really into it and brought their all to the table I think this could be awesome

I really don't know what to think about this possible collab. I mean Katy is a hit or miss imo. She has a lot of great songs (for example Part of Me, I Kissed A Girl and her contribution to Passenger) but a lot of them are just :what: (Birthday etc..). SO maybe it would work and maybe it would be cheesy.

I'd love them to collab. It'd be cool to have at least ONE good collab after maddonna. (rihanna was good too,but it was rihanna feat. brit and not the other way around)

I could see it being more popular than a Britney Gaga collab. Honestly, I like Katy and her music. Speaking of her music, I'm listening to This is How We Do as I type this. :)

I think a collab would be cool, but I could live without it, too. Taylor Swift would be better IMO. :mhm:

The reason I don't is because collabs feel cheap, desperate, and trendy. It would probably be a superficial hit, but not a quality song that would help her legacy as an artist. Also, I feel like Katy Perry's music is too generic and appeals to high school and younger fans which would not help Britney's image and legacy to play down to audiences.  Britney should just work w good songwriters and producers and put out music she is passionate about, rather than trying to appeal or appease a crowd.

 

I don't hate Katy, but I really don't care for her. Britney built her career as a solo artist and set the stage for other female popstars, so a collab w Katy wouldn't feel right or do her any favors in the long run
