It's a theater show so it would have to be done with a prop and that would be pretty expensive. Britney wanted this show to be simple. They could have dancers on the towers if they wanted to have higher dancers.

Imo WB is visually strong. It opens up with an interesting ball landing amongst smoke and fire. The whole setting is like in the middle of The Tardis console room or some industrial planet. Womanizer isn't as visual stimulating via video but maybe live. It's hard to get a feel of what's happening on the Screens and on stage away apart from Britney. 3 has all kinds of flashes of lights and interesting shapes being formed but the dancers and the bar&platforms and the lights.

And TTWE is just not being hit hard enough but it's fine as Britney gets back into her ball. I would like for the show to end with the VIPS being brought on the stage as Britney moves and waves to each side. Kind of like in the FF IWG performance.

I really think if Britney was given the choice to have extra props or elevations, she would say yes  :) She loves big props!

I get the concept, but it seems like they could do more imho

If Britney didn't have to pay for the props she would have Elaborate staging. You have to find a balance. For Piece of me she didn't have an unlimited budget. On Britney's early tours she didn't make a lot of money in the end but touring brings in more money because there are more seats and small and local sponsors. To help pay for the show. There was often a huge main sponsor as well. For FF and POM there isn't big time sponsors. Plus I've been told that even though the Residency isn't for BJ the reason BJ had to be released before the Residency is because Contractually the label is owned a tour/show so the label gets a portion of the profits.

Probably the one form the I Love Rock N Roll From DWAD. Or the Amy from the original post :P

They could bring in a couple of smaller than the tree props and have things going one like Dancers on ribbons and such. I think that might send their insurance sky high though.

What bridge  :omg1:

Gotcha ;)

Which is why we're suggesting other alternatives to the elevating platform thing like having a good lift. The thing is, I understand that it's necessary for them to maximize profits. But, solidifying her legacy with an incredible show would in the long run earn her more money and lengthen her career. So we want it to be the best it can be. Hopefully, now that money's rolled in, they could spend more.

Britney didn't pay for the renovation of the stage..

This is nothing to do with Britney or her team, this is Planet Hollywood, they didn't want it, so thats why it isn't there..

And it's fine without it.. Appreciate what is there, instead of all the "could-a,would-a,should-a"

Britney didn't pay for the creation of the theater. She has a budget that is created for the show.

“It’s important to learn to say no. With tours and all of that stuff, there are so many aspects that go into it, it’s easy to have so many people around you saying, ‘oh yes, yes, you can afford this, you can afford this,’ and then all of the sudden you’ve spent $20 million on your stage and you’re like, ‘where’s my money?’ You have to make sure that you’re on top of things and know where the money’s going.â€

Though I agree with you, I feel like they should just use what they already have. I mean, Work Bitch would look much better if they had a better backdrop and more dramatic lights. I also think that she doesn't use the catwalk much, during Work Bitch she could walk during the bridge  and then do the final chorus on the second stage

this...I think they don't use what they have in the best way...she rarely uses the up floors...only on piece of me and stronger...and she goes running in OIDIA but that looks stupid

and of course the catwalk...she should use it more, in I wanna go or OIDIA just walks to the front and walks back to the main stage...what's the point?

I see what you're saying about the upper floors :yaknow: Maybe she could start walking to the left upper floor for the "Go call the police, go call the governor" part so she's elevated during the bridge and it looks more dramatic that way. Then go back down during the "Work work" to join them for the last chorus.

I love how I'm such a choreographer all of a sudden  But I do agree with them at least adding a theme that would make the upper floors really part of the performance, not just something thrown in there.

Never thought about it.

It'd def add more visual stimulation for 3 to have dancers on diff levels :):xf1:

And omg if she sang Up N Down with platforms that rose and fell I'd love it :yay1:

But I doubt they'd make that kind of change to the stage now :/ Depending on what's below, it could be too little bang for the buck

OMG yes to the U&D idea

Just so you know - I can't open my chat atm :crying1:

I don't know if it would fit for Work Bitch, but they should use it more through the show...she's in the center almost every time...she has a big stage, use it!!

I would imagine it would look amazing for Work Bitch if it elevates while she says, "Hold your head high, fingers to the sky". That 3 idea would look cool, too! :D I find the glowstick effect they're doing on 3 kind of cringeworthy so I hope it'll replace that.

THIS :crying1:  , it would be really iconic tbh :swag:

The thing is, I like POM  :)  and I love to see my Queen doing her thing :swag: , but the stage and the production itself could get better tbh :bomt:

Oh okay. Don't fret, I'm sure it'll get fixed. And I'm not going anywhere ;) Maybe changing ur theme will help. :uhhuh: That worked for me once.
