Don't really think it's a fair comparison though. Ariana's outfit looks VERY sexual and slutty. Britney's outfit wasn't as short nor as sexual. The only thing that made it so iconic and sexy was that it was tied above her belly button. I mean, Britney's skirt was kinda long compared to Ariana's and Britney WAS NOT wearing high heels with that school girl outfit.

 

Britney KNEW how to play sexy with that outfit. I don't know about you guys but to me, that BOMT video was sexy because the way britney stares at the camera. Her body language is much sexier than Ariana's. Almost anyone can look hot and slutty with little clothes on. True seduction comes from looking sexy with not so revealing clothes or mildly revealing clothes.  My vote goes to britney because she KNEW how to make it sexy without making the outfit insanely short and trashy.

It seems this year Ariana Grande really likes taking ideas from our queen Britney Spears. Ariana grande was spotted wearing a school girl outfit for her performance on September 14th and it is similar to Britney Spears Hit me baby one more time look. Hollywood life said:

, 21, is throwing it back to the 90s! The “Break Free” singer sported a hot school girl look while performing in Tokyo on September 14. Ariana’s look is definitely one we’ve seen before.

, 32, first debuted the look in her 1999 music video for “…Baby One More Time.” They both look sensational, but who wore the look better? Ariana rocked the 90s look for the Tokyo performance, complete with a plaid skirt and white tights. The singer managed to spice it up by donning a grey crop top, flaunting her toned midriff. Of course, Ariana added her own signature touch to the throwback look. She wore her hair half-up half-down and wore some sky-high heels. Ariana must have drawn inspiration from the one and only Britney! We all remember watching Britney dance up and down the halls for her “…Baby One More Time” video in 1999. (It will forever be a classic.)


So who wore it better???? Well no shade to Ariana but britney totally wore it better and also she DID start the trend first.  Hollywood life created a poll of who wore it better and so far our queen britney is in the lead by 62%, DUH! Vote here
