Will.i.am is responsible for Britneys longest chart run on the uk charts. Scream and shout slayed for 30 weeks. The next longest run she had was piece of me with 23 weeks. I personally think It Should Be Easy would have had similar success with a music video to back it up. I really don't understand why there's so much hate. BJ may not be the "personal" album we were promised but I think it's underrated and considering the "best" tracks were pulled after finding out there'd be no promo, most of the tracks are really good. I still listen and enjoy one year on. How many other artists release an album that people still listen to one year on?

Im sorry but making Wil.i.am the producer of Britney Jean was the worst decision in Britney's career. Don't get me wrong i like Scream and Shout a lot and that song helped Britney get to different audiences and the general people, but Wil.i.am sound is so generic, he's been doing the same thing over and over again for years.

When i first heard BJ i felt dissapointed, because it sounded like stuff i heard years before, nothing new..and Britney is known for making the trends, not following them.

Not saying he's amazing but I think he does deserve some credit thanks to S&S. Also would people be saying the saying the same about him had the pulled songs have been on the album? It wasn't will.i.am who decided there would be no promo. Maybe the pulled songs were the trend setting songs we've come to expect. I'm still looking forward to album 9 with a new direction. Just saying BJ isn't as bad as a lot of people make out.

I'm sorry but his job as producer wasn't good at all  , he fucked up Britney's voice, the songs sounds like demos, I mean, like unfinished songs, that terrible mistake in Alien  , and the generic and basic sounds that he put in the songs are awful, were sounds so basic and repetitive and not new at all, when britney always makes trends in music with all her albums. So Will.I.Am sucks and I think that he's not going to work with Britney anymore because he fucked up the album and with that Britney's team and herself learned the lesson.

Willaim Orbit made Alien up to the version that leaked before the album was released (without But the stars in the sky... "crack") and then Will.i.Shit took the song and produced it to the album version...

Tbh, it's Will.i.am AND Britney's fault. She's a 32 year old woman in this game she has say in what she wants.

It was rushed, and they probably all regret it. They didn't just pop up out of nowhere and hand Britney Jean to Britney.

Britney could have picked demos like Legion which are way better than half of the album. So yes it's Will.i.am's fault for not making good music, but it's Britney's fault also for allowing him to "happen".
