I don't know, I whish she could focus on recording new music, but at the same time, if she stays for 2 more years, I might save enough money to finally go to see her

actually, she IS focused on new music. Since she has pretty much memorized the choreography, the only work she'd have to do in Vegas is 90 minutes per day. She has 22 hours that she can spend differently. Plus, she's working on her album in-between legs, so this is actually ideal imo

With her being family oriented and her boys growing up fast. I don't really see her doing a big tour anyways. She has even been saying Vegas is more ideal because she can be home whenever she needs to and not traveling all over the world. She's done it for so long that it's time she gets a break and spends time with her family. She's happy and getting her energy back. So I'm happy for her.

It would be good news for all fans if:

 

1) It gives her more time to release an album that is top quality. Or at least not as embarrassing as Britney Jean.

2) This will push them to invest more money in the show. It's a two year extension so we should be expecting major improvements and a change of setlist.

No, but seriously, I'm not sure how I feel about this one. If Britney's happy, then great, but if she's gonna continue doing the show (where she is in one place and with many breaks) and I'm going to save a couple grand to see it, then it needs a makeover and fast. It needs to become not just a good show, but an outstanding show. No excuses.

Not gonna lie, I didn't like the idea of Britney going to Vegas when it was revealed last year. And now that this may go on longer, I'm still not too fond of it. Let's face it, nobody who is young and still releasing music is in Vegas. Now other people see Britney as a, dare I say it, has-been. This is why every time Britney does something people say "Britney's back" and then in the comments "I thought she was 40".

Wanting to be around her kids is great and so is the fact that the show is selling out, but it won't sell out forever, especially if the lip-syncing errors keep happening and her performance levels stay inconsistent.

I would like to see Britney do this with an amended Contract. So she can promote her next Album and do find some kind of time to Tour Over-Seas. A Mini-Tour.

It's not confirmed tho, nothing new, just like Britney said in her interview the residency MIGHT be extented, but nothing is signed.
