My teacher went to England this summer and she brought us some magazines and newspapers. I was reading one of them when suddenly I saw an article about Britney and I was like :o

It's true that her fragrances are really popular. Here in Singapore, I've encountered - or should I say smelled - "Fantasy" a lot of times in public places.

According to reports between 2008 and 2013 britney has sold over a billion of bottles and her scents make around 30 million a year, WOW!  Congrats Britney that is awesome! if it's sold over a billion $ (I thought I read 2 billion but idk I could be wrong) then it has to bring in more than 30 million each year

 

or maybe the 30 million is the net profit after ads, overhead costs, etc.? but 30 mil annually doesn't add up to a billion (let alone 2 billion which Im pretty sure of)

 

EDIT: the article says her fragrances have sold over a billion bottles...which means gross sales figures are well over a billion $

i believe that her perfumes are the best celebrity ones out there but didn't think she made that much the fantasy ones have really nice bottles. the only other celebrity i think is good is victoria beckham intimately beckham perfume. i think it would be a great idea if her perfumes company did the same thing as the walkers crisps company and got fans of the perfumes to suggest different combinations and vote on it. or do a load of weird perfumes like demeter, it would be cool if she did a oriental lily scent there is no perfume out there that cost the same as her perfumes that do that scent. what scent would ye like britney to do.

actually i hope she'll release a ''follow-up fragrance'' to Curious/Curious In Control, and of course a men's fragrance. can't believe how big the slayage will be if she does this.
