Nothing on Femme Fatale is "bubblegum fluff" I M O. Every song on that album is expertly produced, every producer involved was at the top of their game. Listening to it from beginning to end is literally a sonic eargasm. Circus is the album with more fluff than anything. Don't get me wrong, it has some amazing songs, mostly the singles and bonus tracks. But the standard edition is very hit and miss for me. Songs like "Out From Under," "Blur," and "My Baby" are so boring. I could fall asleep listening to them, in a bad way.

But just so you know, this is my opinion. I totally respect yours I don't hate Circus, I just think compared to Femme Fatale it's the weaker album.

I guess we should agree to disagree I mean, Circus is my fave album and FF is my second. So honestly, I can't say too much bad about FF of course. the production IS the best of her career, however I feel like in places, the lyrical content wasn't very strong like the overall theme of the album. But I must agree about one thing - Blur is boring, I will admit! Lol

But I totally respect your opinion, as well. it's nice to see members who agree to disagree these days instead of sending death threats, lol.

Both are good albums, but as a whole... Circus is a LOT better.

Definitely Circus, Femme Fatale is fun, and something new for Brit, it has amazing songs, but her voice is INSANELY edited in the entire album, in her singles you can barely even hear Brit's vocals because they are overcovered by background vocals and autotune. Femme fatale as an album for selling purposes was smashing, artistically it's crap. Circus on the other hand has much clearer vocals and much more complex music, it has a few nice ballads and britney in general was obviously more keen in making this album than FF, so for me circus does it.
