Expecting Britney's Residency To Grow Into Nothing Less Than This

Queen Legendline remains the standard.  The production, the instrumentals, the interludes, the stage, the stage presence, the OUTFITS. 

If they're going to extend the residency, might as well make it half as good as this. Enough with this nonsense that Britney has to settle for less cause it's just a Vegas show, this is better than most of the tours out there.

that looked beautiful...I still couldn't find a video that shows what does the water do on toxic...it seemed really cool in the doc but I never saw it after that

Don't know if this is serious or not.. If Britney would do this, you'll say it misses a lot of light, props etc. And if she was doing that ending i'm sure you would say it's boring as fuck.

Based on what people who went to the show have said, it's not even that clear irl cause of the lights and stuff. Still, it doesn't look as... clean as this. This is what I was talking about buildup and how it matches the number and song. I'll try to look out for it when I go next year.

oh really? that's a waste of money then!! I would rather pay more money to make it look amazing, than to spend money on something that it isn't that clear...what she did on DWAD was beautiful, with the technology that exists now I would think that she would take it a step ahead!!

True, but I kinda understand cause Celine's initial residency kinda started out underwhelming at first, then got better and better throughout the years.

oh I didn't know that....it's probably going to happen something like that with britney (I hope)...I actually understand...you're investing a lot of money on something that you're not sure if it's gonna give you the money you need in return...a tour is different, cause the audience is wider...not a lot of people can travel to vegas, so I understand that they are taking it slowly...

 

but in britney's case the problem isn't just the production...some of the themes and choreographies seemed put together in a rush, if they had more time to think about some things it would look better with the same production

The Toxic Rain is noticeable in video so it has to be noticeable in real life. It's just atmosphere though to make it look and feel like a rain Forrest. That show setting is breathtaking. 

 

As for Celine, Caesars Entertainment put a lot more money into her show than they afforded Planet Hollywood to do with Britney. Planet Hollywood is a younger clientele so less money is generated.

 

I've been thinking that they could switch the Toxic-TTWE and the Everytime-Oops performances. I think ending on the songs that made her would have a stronger impact. 

 

I also think they should go a head and remove Britney from Boys. That way when she comes out for the Ballad she can be wearing a gorgeous dress or one of her Intimate Britney Spears pieces and the crowd will be happy to see her after that little break. One less song for Britney could give her enough energy to close strong later.

Even Everytime looks more spectacular and magical than Celine's ending tho and a lot of you call this performance boring

And the current ending we have is actually pretty spectacular. There are the things like in Everytime that are falling (i don't know how it's called in english) there is water, smoke, a lot of lights + the backdrops, fireworks at the end etc. what do you want more ?

I dunno, I prefer Celine's more. I was talking about the TTWE number, which didn't seem to create a moment like Celine's finale did.

It's not just the production per se, that there are fireworks here and snow there, but how well it complements the song.

I've said in another thread they could use more elevations for example to add a dramatic effect to the bridges like in Work Bitch. Which is why I love the production of Break the Ice and while not the most spectacular, is the best of the show imho.

Celine is seriously the legend I want Britney to mature as. Classy, not trying hard, but still doing her own thing and up to now, breaking records with her shows. Mariah and Madonna need to take notes.

Hmmm, no, i have eternal and endless respect towards Celine, and I adore her, her voice makes me cry. But this scene is made for HER and HER music. Britney and Celine are artists which can't be even compared, not even closely. Britney is a mainstream performer/artist, while Celine is the type who has insane vocals and music that is far from mainstream but is infact very deep. Britney's shows is built for her own music and energy. Britney could never sing like Celine, Celine could never entertain and have the energy that Brit does. Simple as that.

I really refuse to believe Britney's charisma is gone tbh. They just need to push her more, get her more excited in the show again. The fact we get to see glimpses of it tells me it's still there.
