I think is a really slowly song for britney, not her style, maybe with a choir in the background and some rock guitar sounds would work really good in my opinion, but is good to know that britney has some demos like that, so she can rework on it and get inspired from this genre of music. Britney is innovative and her sexy voice sounds good practically in everything, so wouldnt mind listening her in a song like this, but not this version.

2 new britney jean demos leaked today and made its way onto universe today. The songs were produced by Dev Hynes a producer who produced Britney some songs to record on her album Britney Jean but never made the cut. Britney and her team turned it down because they thought the songs would not sell at all. The 2 songs that Dev Hynes produced finally leaked, take a listen to them below. I am really not crazy about them, i mean if Britney sang them it would be ok. What do you guys think? Not really feeling it.

And second, Britney didn't turn them down because "they would not sell", they were turned down because by the time Dev submitted those demos, Will.i.make.u.flop was already EP.. You can guess the rest.

The more I listen to these the more I understand what happened with Britney Jean. All these producers wanted to actually make Blackout 2.0. And Britney doesn't like doing the same things. I remember Will said he had to call producers and say not so dark. I think Britney wants to have fun with her music and doesn't want to be sad and miserable. 

 

These songs don't sound like they were written for Britney but for this guy to be making his own version of Blackout. Or maybe this guy wanted to record with Prince because that's who they sound like they are actually for...

 

I do see the potential here but I can understand the want for changes. 

 

We should have asked for a ITZ 2.0. They are less depressing songs in the Urban direction. I mean songs like Breathe on me have this slow groove but don't make you depressed listening to them.

I don't like them. The second one would be good with Britney's voice and if it was actually mastered to a final version, but as both of these are now, no.
