I agree with you but I think releasing overprotected twice was a mistake tbh, I wish she chose Cinderella as a single instead of the dark child remix, I stan for it up to this day

The thing is she released it "twice" but in different countries and with different sounds.

Although I kinda agree, because it's like what happened with Radar for Circus, such a waste of single choice when it had already been released (tho it was just as promo for Blackout).

From what I understood, Radar was promised to be a single to the producers, but since she was a mess in Blackout, they couldn't make it a single and shoot a MV , so in an agreement they decided to release it as a single within Circus , to respect the contract

Haha when I read the title I was all like "how the fuck could you critique that era in anyway" but you're right lol. Crossroads should have had a soundtrack and Britney should have had more songs and it own singles. Such an great era in music history regardless. Hasn't been done so well in a while, by anyone.

Yeah, well, kinda. Cuz she could perfectly release it as a single back then, but she ditched the whole project and started recording Circus, that's why the Blackout re-release never happened either

And my point was that GP didn't really support Radar as a Circus single cuz they had already listened to it as a promo single for Blackout.
