Did anyone notice that on Jimmy Fallon, the audience, while cheering, were constantly looking at the cue cards so they know when they're allowed to stop?

I just don't understand those people. Love Britney or hate Britney, when you're in the same room as a very famous undeniable icon of the music industry, you CLAP, and you mean it! I mean, I hate Justin Bieber, but I would still lose my shit if he was in the same room as me, because he's a fucking celebrity.

Ungrateful studio audience is ungrateful. #Bye

plus the audience has to follow instructions as well

the opinion went south after saying that you'd freak out by bieber cyrus

this was more of week old cheese that was left out of the fridge rather than tea

Exactly. They were forced to clap for Britney. People saying that a studio audience's clapping signifies her status with the general public are just wrong

it looked to me as if they were watching themselves in the screens because after they looked they pulled a lot of "look at me, i'm on tv!" faces

Looking at the screens = Looking at the viewers. They were looking at the cue cards, lbr

I kinda get what ya mean

but I don't care about almost every other celeb, and my heart wouldn't skip a beat if I saw bieber

I wouldn't even care to talk to him whatsoever if I was in the same room as him by myself tbh

looking at the screens = looking at themselves being filmed and being happy they're going to be on tv.

but they weren't looking at the cameras. if they were looking at the cameras they'd be looking at the person watching the program on TV

what are you even saying? the people the studio audience cannot see the people watching the program on tv. they see THEMSELVES on the screen and thus pull the excited "omg i'm on tv" faces that nearly everyone in that audience pulled.

If they were looking at the cameras, the viewers would be making eye contact with them because what the camera films is broadcast on TV

the studio audience was not looking at the cameras, they were looking at the SCREENS SHOWING WHAT THE CAMERA IS SHOWING
