I personally expected something around 70-80K but HDD just posted their predictions. As someone in Alt-J's target hipster audience, I can easily answer poor sales: the album sucks and solidified the notion that they're a one hit wonder that stumbled upon a lucky hit. Reigning indie critic site Pitchfork ripped apart the album pretty brutally, and gave it a 4.0 out of 10, which is dismal by Pitchfork standards. I'm happy it's flopping tbh, his voice is hella annoying and they're pretentious af. Relegated to orbit forever around Planet Irrelevancy now, somewhere around Urban Outfitters Background Music Playlist
