New Interview: Britney Gives Herself 10 More Years In The Music Business & Much More

It's an interview with the german newspaper "Bild".

Here are the main points: 

 

- the London boutique that got her inspired is called "The Pearl"

- she prefers making music to fashion, but she looooooves to shop too much and she even thinks that it would be better for her to check herself in rehab for her shopping addiction (note: the journalist was laughing a bit when she said the word "rehab")

- she doesn't regret anything in her life, she's almost 33, has 2 beautiful children, and doesn't have that driven attitude anymore (she's more conscious about her acts and decisions these days)

- she's more shy than in the past

-she sometimes looks at childhood pix of herself (her mom keeps a book with them)

- she explained her job to her kids by saying that she's a singer who entertains and wants to make people happy. She would support her kids if they would wanna do the same thing in the future but she'd rather see them become laywers or doctors bc her job is rly hard with a lot of bad people. You need a lot of confidence and will to do her job.

- she gives herself 10 more years in the music business

- she wants to have more babies, get married and do more movies soon. Unfortunately she hasn't met the right guy yet.

- her secret to looking so good: a lot of sleep, water, chicken and fish

Für die Sängerin hat sich mit ihrer Kollektion einen textilen Traum erfüllt: „Ich wünsche mir das schon seit zehn Jahren, eine Kollektion auf den Markt zu bringen. Ich war einmal in einem Laden in London, der sich ,The Pearl' nannte und hatte danach den Wunsch, dass ich auch Mode entwerfen möchte, die meinen Namen trägt.“

BILD: Was macht Ihnen mehr Spaß – Musik oder Mode?

 

Britney Spears: â€žMusik. Aber ich shoppe für mein Leben gern und shoppe soviel, dass ich mich zu meinem eigenen Schutz einweisen lassen muss, damit ich nicht übertreibe.“

 

Bereuen Sie etwas aus Ihrer Vergangenheit?

„Ich fühle mich gut, trotz allem, was passiert ist. Ich werde 33, habe zwei wundervolle Kinder und empfinde mich nicht mehr als Getriebene.“

Wie meinen Sie das?

„Ich bin heute bewusst in meinen Taten und Entscheidungen. Meine Karriere ist noch nicht auserzählt, so fühle ich mich noch nicht. Aber im Vergleich zu früher bin ich zurückhaltender geworden.“

 

Schauen Sie sich Kinderfotos an?

„Manchmal. Meine Mutter hat ein Album mit Fotos aus meinen Anfangstagen.“

 

Wie erklären Sie Ihren Söhnen Ihren Beruf?

„Ich habe meinen Kindern erklärt, dass Mami eine Sängerin ist. Ein Popstar, die Leute unterhält und glücklich machen will. Wenn meine Söhne sich später berufen fühlen, auch so etwas zu machen, sollen sie es tun. Ich würde ihnen aber eher raten, Doktor oder Anwalt zu werden, meinen Job kann ich nicht empfehlen. Es ist ein hartes Geschäft, voller Halsabschneider. Wenn du es machen willst, musst du eine Person voller Selbstvertrauen und starkem Willen sein.“

Wie lange wollen Sie noch im Musik-Geschäft bleiben?

„Ich gebe mir noch zehn Jahre. Bald will ich mehr Kinder haben, verheiratet sein und in Filmen mitspielen. Bislang war der Richtige nicht dabei. Aber alles passiert aus einem bestimmten Grund und das ist auch gut so. Aber ich bereue nichts.“

I actually cried when I read some of that list, but I think i'm just hyperemotional right now I'm so happy for her for tackling her past and looking boldly toward the future, not only for herself, but for her family. That takes strength, humility and courage, and I don't think I will ever be as powerful in steering my life and facing my problems like Britney Jean Spears.

Well if she signed for 4 more albums, that probably is 8 years right there. Each record Cycle is usually over 2 Then you add in a small break or a little extra time for the album. Ten years easily. 

 

And even if she's a has been well people who are has beens can still make albums and work. You don't have to be at the top of the charts to still be in the business.
