Why Do Yall Want Britney To Promote Alot?

like I said many times she needs good music not promo... maybe a lil promo is okay but not alot like gaga and katy.. we all know britney is better than that... and that promoney is so 1999-2003 ish.. by now  ... Britney Jean flopped coz people knew william fucked up the album and no one bought it besides the 600k people   including me

great acts dont need promo ask Madonna and Cher... Chers sellling out every show and the GP are 20 year olds... they have no clue who is Cher and its sad that they dont reconize her tbh.. but coz of her amazing music she shits on everybodys fave.. including Elton and Celine

How do you want people to buy her music (good or not) if they arent even aware she has new music tho

(and as if people even cared about who's the EP on her album only real fans care about that. It flopped because there was no hype (so, the GP didnt buy it), and it was also not really great (so not all the fans bought it). Promo is a big part of it for GP, quality for fans.)

I think is very important to make a performance at least in one hit tv show so the general public will be able to know the sound of the new album. She doesn't need to do a massive promotion like she used to do back in the beginning of her career. She's a legend and everybody knows it.

This promo thing is very subjective. Britney didn't promote Britney Jean because I think the album isn't what she wanted at the first place, imo. Now that she's free to do what she wants, I feel like she's more comfortable promoting things she has the full control of it.

so there's some selfishness, but also more chances to be slayed by her beauty, cuteness, charm, etc

 

As for music...it has to be promoted for people to know there's something to buy. Music is played more frequently due to A&R...payola, exposure, advertisements (radio, tv, stores, and all media).

Pretty sure younger people know who Cher is Or at least, people who a. Don't live under a rock and b. Know about artists that aren't necessarily trending on twitter.

Anyways, it is important that people actually KNOW Britney has music coming out through promo and can SEE and HEAR her performing said music through a performance and great videos.
