:crying1: Why they do this on every single picture when we can see that her body is amazing on candids and live apparences!?

Idk. :crying1: It is like violation against Britney. She said this line is for all women, no matter how they look so why they can't let her show her naturally amazing figure!

What I really don't understand is how little of the business world you all know. :overthis:

Doesn't matter how amazing she looks in real life, advertisement will ALWAYS sell perfection, cause nobody can reach it, thus it awakens the need (in this case) in women to purchase more stuff so, maybe and just maybe, they get to look as perfect and sexy as the woman (in this case Britney) portrayed in the pictures.

They don't photoshop her because she's full of flaws or stuff, but because in marketing, you always have to aim for something people will desperately want, but will never get.

Get it?

Although she looks photoshopped a lot in this pic, i still love it :crying1:

We're her fans so we can easily tell any things abnormal about her in pictures, but imo the gp won't see that far. They just walk by her lingerie line shop and have a brief glance at her posters and are like "Oh she looks great!" so they walk into the door and focus on the real stuff there, not her posters anymore and they end up buying a lot of things :bomt:

You having a fun ride on that high horse?

:frenchy:

Just because it is a marketing ploy, does not make it right. Maybe, just maybe, it would be beneficial to our society (across various nations) to stop reaching for perfection as there is no such thing.

And it just looks fake, which is the main problem. Not even subtle in their editing. She would look better and more perfect without the over the top photoshopping. Just little touch ups here and there, if it must be done for profitability.

:izudumb: Did I say it was right? No.

Did I say it looks real and completely normal? No.

Do I encourage or support society to keep doing this? No.

Do I enjoy riding this high horse? Yes, thank you for asking; as this is the career I'm studying and has helped me understand things that didn't make sense to me before.

If you don't like how she gets retouched in PS then write a letter to the one in charge of Britney's public image. :frenchy:

You won't make a point stating your opinion on an online forum and trying to bash mine.

I wasn't trying to bash you. I was responding to your "this is what businesses do, so no point in complaining" kind of tone (because that is how I interpreted your comment). And that question about other members knowing about business was a little condescending, as if none of us should be asking why they made Britney basically look worse and just alien-like.

A forum is a place where people state their opinions and respond to others' opinions, so my response to you is justified. What I do beyond this forum may very well prove my point (and it does), therefore no letter need be written. That's like telling people who express dislike of Britney's lip-syncing to stop talking about on a Britney forum and just tweet her about it. This is just an exchange of words and ideas.
