When Did The Ney Everything Start (Ex. Brunnetteney)

I know what ya mean, but I like to find novel uses for it 

 

We all know we're being cheezy, just like Britney embraces Dorkney 

 

it sometimes says alot too...like for example when I say Chameleonney, you know it means that she looks so different sometimes in the same shoot and tons of images come to mind

 

I think it works as slang pretty well within our fanbase, and even outside of it people get it

 

I do get where yer coming from, but we type it more than we say it outloud

Maybe what turned me off is when I was at the FFT and this incredibly drunk guy behind me kept going (at EVERY chance he got) "omg it's SLAYney!!!!! Biiiitch YASSSS QUEEEEEEN"  "omg LOOK Queenney!"  "Angelney!" (during TTWE) "Confettiney!"

I'm thinking "Really? Out loud, dude? Imma need for you to turn the volume down about 20 notches and control yoself!"

I mean, it was funny but damn.

But at the end of the day, I know it's all for fun

Like a few others said, I think it started around Circus Era.

 

I honestly don't remember. It's been around so long.

 

And on the topic of past forums, I remember some awesome times back in the day on Britney forums. I remember the meltdowns when she announced her second pregnancy (some fans were pissed to get no new music; others were happy; most were slightly disappointed), the meltdowns when she dyed her hair black, the meltdowns when Harper's Bazaar came out in 2006, the meltdowns when she filed for divorce, went out sans underwear, shaved her head, went to rehab, got out of rehab, did that little video with X17, HOB tour, Gimme More, 2007 VMAs, when she lost custody, Blackout, when she started going out with Adnan, being hospitalized in 2008, the conservatorship, etc...

 

You missed a day on the Internet back in 2007 and you would be so lost.

If im not mistaken, the -ney suffix started from haters who used to call her Fatney or Godney, then the army turned the tables and made it into something more iconic.

Tbh i started using the "ney" since the Britney jean era, because till then i hadn´t been on a fan forum
