About Britney's Video Vaguard Award Tribute

Come to think of it, I think it was unnecessary for our queen Brit-Brit to perform in from of the VMA crowd because everyone in the room knew and recognizes how worthy she is as a recipient of the award. Emphasis on worthy. hence the different iconic costumes shown by the different children who performed to reminisce her iconic moments (which were plenty btw). Bey-Bey and JT on the other hand had to perform to prove their worth. *no shade*   

 

 

 

Still wish shed perform on the VMAs again and own it though

It wasn't a very great tribute to her. It was a little chaotic, and bookended with gagas shenanigans and Beyonce's performance. I don't blame beyonce for how she was introduced, and I think it was a little selfish of gaga to dress and act the way she did knowing she'd be presenting the award. It just lacked star power and only showed her influence on those kids rather than today's music industry

I agree. Britney stood up and introduced Beyonce? Like WTF was that. Its like Beyonce stole her thunder. I felt a little disappointed watching that back in the day.

It's not about a tribute though, it's about accepting an award and recognising their achievements hence why MJ, JT AND BEY all performed! It still makes me upset that Brit didn't perform a medley like they did, she could have slated and shut everyone up

I think you were a little harsh on her but overall I agree with you...I think fans make up these excuses of being tacky performing your own tribute cause they have to justify the fact that she didn't care about it...but if britney did performed everyone would be saying the usual stuff "slayed, queen, primeney" (and probably bashing her in the day after) ahaha
