Universe appealed to most of us because it started out as a really positive place for Britney fans. Unlike exhale. I get being a positive fan doesn't mean you always have to like everything Britney does. I sure don't. However,  I've noticed certain members on here do nothing but criticise Britney every chance they get. I'm sure you know what members I'm referring to.  I've come to the conclusion that some of the members are those fans who are still stuck in the past and can't accept Britney for who she is now. You're either a fan who sticks by her, or you're not.

Overall, it's a much more positive place than exhale! It's only sort of recently I've noticed a few members being particularly negative and being over criticle

I think I know who you are referring to (maybe me as well?). It's all just constructive criticism. I think it's safe to say everyone here loves Britney, no matter what the time period. There is nothing but respect (well, most of the time).

Most of it is constructive criticism, which I'm all for, but some can still be a bit overly harsh. I do think everyone here genuinely loves Britney but some just can't seem to grasp that she's not the same person she was when she was 20. Although, the recent interviews we've had show that in some ways, she still is the same girl she's always been

Ppl here are too sensitive and i wonder how they deal with real life situations if they can't handle me critiquing their idol who happens to also be mines...I love Britney then, now, and forever....it's not that I don't accept her I don't accept the bullshit she and her team tries to feed fans...I have actually never been this critical of her in her entire career I made up excuses for her but I'm done with the excuses and it's time to face the facts...when u love someone u tell them the truth...yes the b army can be some of the most critical but we are also the most supportive and i can say the things i say but if someone else says it I will cut a bitch...I always want to be on Britney's side is wat some ppl here don't get...the difference is I won't allow myself to be blinded b/c I love her...I can't be on her side when she is not singin her album entirely that is a scam period...lying and saying for the first time in a long time in her career Shes gonna be singin live for 85% of a show...dancing harder than ever..all that bullshit doesn't sit well wit me and she's lied for years to sell albums and tickets...I love her but no just no...I'd honestly respect her more if she just kept it real

Yeah. I know with me, in between Circus and BJ eras, all I did was buy the music and not really do much else as a fan. Ever since Blackout, I had really become a flop fan. So to go back to really paying attention and seeing/hearing FF shows, POM, and BJ, I was like wow what a difference. Not all bad differences, but just different. So for me, I will admit I'm still catching up from 2004-2008 because I didn't get into the online community or watch every show and tv appearance after 2008 until like December last year.

That's why my comments may could come off as "stuck in the past".

I can see where you're coming from and for the most part you do bring up really valid points which I do agree with! And I can tell you are genuinely a Britney fan and want to see her be the best she can be, which we all do. In regards to the live singing though, I don't think it was her who said she'd be singing live. Blame her team for that. As for the dancing, it's obviously not as hard as it was earlier in her career, but it's a step up from the Circus and FF eras. She just needs to put in 100% each show.

And when I critique Pomney I'm not askin for primeney I'm askin for secondlegney which seems to be the best she's offered this year even tho ik she's capable of even better...I don't think this show was made to fit Britney but she still does a great job...I don't think it's too much for me to want my idol to be a CONSISTENT performer. She half asses more than she puts effort and I will call her out on it every time Idc if they ban me b/c I don't live in delusion and I have a life so I won't lose sleep...we ALL have responsibilities and hardships that we work thru and if We messed up on our jobs today and say "well in 2007 I went thru hell" no one would give a shit...ppl need to start tellin Britney the truth...I enjoyed circus era(not so much the album but everything else) and I enjoyed the good things about ff...but pom/bj era the blatant disrespect for fans intelligence is beyond I love her but that doesn't mean I have to agree wit her... That's true, she killed it in the second leg! But like you said, she's most likely capable of doing even better! I've noticed she seems to do a lot better when she's not wearing those wigs. Not using as an excuse, but it could be something that restricts her from going full on out in her performances. Take the second leg for example with brunettney    But yeah you're right about how if we were to half ass our jobs we wouldn't last, and especially considering Britney only performs three nights a week, it shouldn't be that difficult. I agree about the Circus and FF eras too, although the FF didn't have a whole to to enjoy   And exactly, you don't have to like every single thing she does, which is perfectly fine!
