JoshLee Posted October 3, 2014 #26 Report Posted October 3, 2014 Yes, I agree with you. Although some people can be quite NASTY towards her which is just ridiculous.
LiaLovesGodney Posted October 3, 2014 #27 Report Posted October 3, 2014 I agree 100% with you. With that said, we need to think the fact that she's as human as we all are Does it mean that she can half-ass whenever? No, but also not be all judgmental when it happens unless you can tell that she doesn't give a crap (or she says it). There's no point in people who are over-critical of her and still call themselves fans just because they once were, that's not even healthy, no one would be in a relationship with someone who never meets their expectations. Also the person would have to wonder why so over-critical of a stranger. Do I miss how she was performance-wise? Of course, it takes me down memory lane but those were also different times, we all change. She will probably never be how she was in her prime as much as it sucks to accept that, but it's my choice to be a fan or not and complaining about it all the time is not gonna change anything because it's out of my control. Maybe it's because Britney is not the center of my life that I don't care as much as other people, I try not to base my life on other people cuz I'd always be disappointed. There's a definitely a way to be respectful about one's opinion for sure. But no one here outright insults her and is just mean about their critiques. Britney isn't the center of my life either, and I'd argue that those of us who can look on her performances and music without bias especially aren't obsessed. However, I do worry for the people who think that Britney, a human being, can do no wrong in her career (I would include personal life, but that really is none of any fan's business even if it is publicized).

POMNEY :3 Posted October 3, 2014 #29 Report Posted October 3, 2014 I feel bad for the fan that paid 2k to get this photo: Me too but she feels of people maybe he was creepier than the x factor guy

WeKeepOnRockin Posted October 3, 2014 Author #31 Report Posted October 3, 2014 I think it's only fair to express freely what we think of her as an artist as long as we choose carefully the words we are going to use while doing it. It's not right to call her lazy or saying she's half-assing her show. Calling people "exhalers" for expressing their discontents towards Britney's lack of passion (to call it something) isn't right either *side-eye looking at certain admin* That is exactly what she's doing though.
Ariana Grande Posted October 3, 2014 #32 Report Posted October 3, 2014 That is exactly what she's doing though. What I meant is: There are other ways to say it without sounding like a complete asshole. Get it?
WeKeepOnRockin Posted October 3, 2014 Author #33 Report Posted October 3, 2014 What I meant is: There are other ways to say it without sounding like a complete asshole. Get it? I tell it like it is and i don't sugarcoat it.
Ariana Grande Posted October 3, 2014 #34 Report Posted October 3, 2014 I tell it like it is and i don't sugarcoat it. I was trying to support your point of view from my own respectful point of view, but if all you do is bitch then there's nothing we can do, is there? You won't get far in life with that "My opinion is the only one that matters" way of thinking. Say whatever you want, I don't give a flying cunt, and neither does Britney. Criticize her or bash her or praise her all you want, whatever you do, she'll continue selling her shows out and gaining more and more money and power and recognition. If staff members get mad at you then poor them, I won't waste my time on someone like you. Happy bashing criticizing
blackoutbaby09 Posted October 4, 2014 #35 Report Posted October 4, 2014 Britney Spears has been dancing better than ever and always sings live. Don't be a hater! She's just so good she sounds like the studio sound! HATER! 1
Caroline77 Posted October 4, 2014 #36 Report Posted October 4, 2014 I'm ok with people expressing their opinion if they don't like something or whatever. I also think she wasn't at her best the last leg, and the lipsyncing is stupid imo and a waste of talent because she is talented. What i'm not ok with, it's with people thinking they have the absolute truth, while an opinion is an opinion and not the truth (so comments like "it's the truth, stay pressed" just no.) and saying what she has to do. Like who are you to tell what she has to do ? Even more if you didn't go (and won't go) to the show ? You are nobody to tell what she has to do, it's her life and unfortunately for you, she can do what the fuck she wants whatever if it's good or bad, and if you like it or not. Oh and, maybe if you weren't overanalyzing every moves you would enjoy things a little more.

Far Beyond Posted October 6, 2014 #38 Report Posted October 6, 2014 myah did that solo constructive criticism is as ambiguous as common sense to some people someone can say "she sucks at dancing now" and they call it 'constructive criticism', plus it's not even constructive criticism if she's not even reading it i personally never got the hype of critiquing someone else for something that i'm not doing personally, and if i was paying for it then it's my choice to go with it or not, knowing it may or may not happen when you watch a movie (not you, just in general) and you don't like it, yes you say it sucks but you don't go and watch it again hoping it's gonna be different I totally agree w all your posts in the thread....except the Myah one *pushes up my glasses and says in an annoying voice* actually ...it was Max Martin. Worst comment ever Sometimes people blur reality and think they have a say in another person's life. It seems like common sense that focusing on what you like is a better way to spend your time than just condemning shit you don't like. And then they usually get mad if you comment that you disagree w them. Funny world we live in 1 1
