it was just a skit britney did when she performed on jimmy kimmel for femme fatale, the jackass guys were also there to promote their movie (or something i don't remember, i just watched for britney tbh). plus, like others have already said, that wasn't actually her who came out of the porta potty. the double looked completely different from her at the time

I can't believe its a discussion because it's common knowledge that Britney didn't actually bungee in the porta potty.

Yes it really was Britney doing the first part of the sketch. When the potty bungees through the air, there's no one actually in it. They filmed a double getting all the mess all over her and then at the end the double is the one that comes out and jumps on johnny.

She's like half the size of Britney, IMO its pretty obvious to see it's not Brit at the end

Idk bout the double I'll have to rewatch it. It seems strange to order a double if this stunt is fake

 

My point was to open discussion about this, not to verify the validity of the stunt.

i think the reason they used such an obvious double was to go along with the whole joke of it. to poke fun at jackass and britney herself.

 

it wasn't really either. the jackass guys said it was an outtake from their movie, but it was obviously just a segway into the skit and not intended to actually be in the movie whatsoever, and gave britney something else to do while she was on jimmy kimmel other than perform/her skit with jimmy.

Either way, my point is to know more background info...not to prove what is fake and what is real...and to hear comments, but everyone is so focused on how real it is, when that is only a sidenote to me...I knew something was set up, whether it was not real shit and piss or whatever...but I am more interested in the background, not how this was filmed and tech details. I made the mistake of assuming Jackass's reputation for performing stunts meant this was real in some ways.

well its quite possible that she did and didn't. First of al she didn't fly up when she was launched but maybe she did and we didn't get footage. Also she should've used a seatbelt? But oh well i doubt we will ever find out

I think it's pretty obvious it wasn't really Britney towards the end. It doesn't look, act or sound like her. Plus some of the footage is from the movie because the liquid coming out in the wide shots is brown, and then it turns to blue when we see "Britney".

 

She never would have gotten all messed up like that when she had to record another skit + perform live.

I know it's gross, but personally I think it took balls on many levels. 

 

- Bungeeing like that some people cannot even do, or too afraid to do

- The nastiness of it all

- The fact that it was to be used and seen publicly

- And how she handled it so well

 

 

I've gotta say, I am impressed. I never see or hear anyone on forums discuss it. Maybe I haven't been doing forums long enough.
