So some of my non-army lucky bastard friends were forced to see POM with other people since they went to vegas with other Brit fans.  :crying1:

And I swear to you I grilled them ALLLL about how Britney was and they all said: "I didn't want to go, I really wanted to do something else but I was SO GLAD I went!"  :wahlykeomg:

So me being me, I was all like, "How was the dancing? How was the show???" making sure I knew what they thought of everything.  :nowaygif:

and they ALL said, "She did great, looked amazing and put on an awesome show!"  :o

For real guys! We're obviously harder on her being her loyal fans but the GP thinks the show is bad-ass my friends.

That's great to hear.

For most fans it's like:

"hmm, not much energy in that routine"

"oh, she messed up that move"

"I know she can do better"

The GP can't really compare so they just enjoy the show.

EXACTLY!

And the guy I spoke to yesterday has worked for radio and met a ton of celebrities and for some reason he REALLY didn't want to see POM but he was so ecstatic when talking about it.....like he was inducted into the army after watching it. And he went to the show in May and she's doing way better now too.

yeah, most of the fans are tracking her steps since the begining and we know what she can do and what she can't

but non fans are amazed that she can pull an AMAZING show after 2007 lbr

This is true, and probably one of the reasons POM is doing as well as it is.  We fans who have been with her since the beginning are used to seeing Britney at 110% to the point where her back up dancers can just about keep up with her.  We all know Britney during POM is only running at about 50% of her prime abilities.  The reasons for that are debatable and we will never really know what is going on with Britney so I'm not here to start that topic.  I will say that I am dumbfounded at those casual GP ticket buyers who actually think this is how she used to be and don't see the difference.  Sometimes I think to myself - my god is it me?  Maybe i'm wrong...but then I realize that we all just payed way more attention to her abilities and less about OMG that Britney's shameless...look what she wore and what she said and cared more about her performance.

Crazy....it really is.  POM is a good show though and I hope to return to Vegas to see it again before it's over.  Is POM the most theatrical/biggest spectacle Britney has ever put on?  NO.  It certainly was not what I was expecting for a Greatest Hits show...but it is enjoyable and is a trip down memory lane from one hit to another which speaks volumes about her awesome catalog a music and even the songs that weren't #1 hits, are still so recognizable and are in no way forgettable.

Some nonfans expect too much (as do big fans) but mostly people don't know what to expect, so they are blown away. It's better to have low expectations and just be open and positive  :)
