The timing was good, and you can see she was actually ready to jump, but at the moment she was lifted the harness just came loose, that's why she got scared and hold the cords, not because she wasn't ready. Look at the harness on her right side, it wasn't tied properly and it came loose, it wasn't holding her at all. If she wouldn't have held the cords, yes there's a chance she would have fallen from it since it literally wasn't holding her.

Yeah I get it after re watching the video again and again, the belt around her waist wasn't tight enough so she felt like she wasn't attached :s
