Yes unfortunately.

When I was in Mexico visiting my dad's side of the family,

they didn't have heat or running hot water.

So I had to shower in the cold water and it was VERY unpleasant   

Its not their fault, they couldn't afford heating/hot water.

Mexico is a poor country and not like America.
